A few of my FAVORITE things to eat!

I have had a wonderful weekend with GREAT food. We tried out a new grocery store here and found CORN ON THE COB! I was really sad because I kept telling Nick not to get any. "It's not going to taste the same." Lucy says..."just pretend it's from home mom." So, I did and oh my. It was the best. Maybe not the best but pretty close to home. Good job Lucy, for keeping an open mind.
Also, I got to go the the base where there is an AMERICAN grocery store and you get to use american dollars. Well, I bought LOTS of Tostitos and bacon for BLT'S!!!!!!!!! So since Kim took pictures of dirty socks and Travis took pictures of her skinned leg...I thought I could take pictures of FOOD!!!!!!!!
The food is great over here...but there's nothing better than IOWA corn!

Bowling

This was such an exciting day! Nick asked Lucy what she wanted to do today and she told us she wanted to go bowling. So we found a bowling alley and had such a great time. I think we will make this our Sunday evening outing:)
Lucy even shared her turns with Lincoln. He would watch the ball right at the begining of the lane and as soon as it went down the lane, he would turn right around and walk back to us!! They are little stars! And what a better way to end our night by getting some ice cream! Our favorite.

Friday

Friday was a holiday for the Germans so Nick had the day off and Lucy didn't have school. We decided to bike on over to the zoo. It was such a great time. Lucy and Nick got to watch the lion and tiger feeding while Lincoln and I went and watch the monkeys.

Happy Halloween

About Me

My photo
Well I am a mother of 2 kiddos. Lucy is 4 and Lincoln is 2. They are on the go ALL the time. By time Nick gets home from work, I am ready for bed. We are here in Germany for a year with Nick's work. It's going well. I am trying to enjoy the time we have here. There is so much to see and do and so much to take in. I thought I would do this blog so everyone could take a minute to see how we are!
