Okotberfest...well...kind of.
Saturday night we went to a "Texas" Oktoberfest. It wasn't really anything compared to Munich but it was fun and something to do. The weather was beautiful and it was a great excuse to get Lucy and Link dressed in there little german outfits. We ate our "americanized" brats and pretzels, did some german dancing, and even sang some german songs...well Nick and Lucy did.
Ode to squirrels
Lucy's favorite animals above any others are... SQUIRRELS!!
My grandma's name was Lucy and she was deathly afraid of sqirrels. My grandpa would put food out for them and she would just freeze if one ever came in their yard. It's funny how now my daughter...who is named after my grandma LOVES them.
The other day we were at Target and Lucy found this dog costume and we both started laughing in the isle. I'm sure people were laughing at us. I thought I was dreaming. We HAD to get Emma the costume even though it was a size too small. So here are a few pictures of Emma's halloween costume. She is not to happy with us when we put her costume on but we get a kick out of it:

Halloween Cookies
The other night we made cookies for Halloween. Lucy loved it and Lincoln ate the frosting and candy! We had a fun time!

- Well I am a mother of 2 kiddos. Lucy is 4 and Lincoln is 2. They are on the go ALL the time. By time Nick gets home from work, I am ready for bed. We are here in Germany for a year with Nick's work. It's going well. I am trying to enjoy the time we have here. There is so much to see and do and so much to take in.
