Anyway--we have been busy busy down here which is nice. We love being with family! Nick's birthday was last week so I suprised him and had a little get together with his aunt and uncle, grandma and grandpa and cousin! We had a wonderful time out to dinner!
We go over to Nick's aunt and uncle's quite a bit and the other day we were there with the greatest dog ever...COVERGIRL!! Lucy is in love with her. She carries her around like a little baby and is just a little mom to her whenever we are around! She wants a Cover Girl for her birthday...I'm afraid that isn't going to happen.
Lucy and Lincoln's 100th day of school was on Friday so I got to go to Lincoln's parade at school. Oh my...it made my day! Those little kiddos marching around the halls waving at the parents and singing was just the cutest thing ever. Link did great until he saw me and then wanted to sit with me and wave at everyone else from my lap:) Each class had a different hat they made so it was cute to see their creativity!
Anyway--things are going well. We have been looking for houses most weekends, going with family, and just enjoying being here...and not up in that Iowa winter mess:) Although, this isn't home to not have snow down here. I hope everyone has a great week and I hope to keep up on this blog a little better.
