- Well I am a mother of 2 kiddos. Lucy is 4 and Lincoln is 2. They are on the go ALL the time. By time Nick gets home from work, I am ready for bed. We are here in Germany for a year with Nick's work. It's going well. I am trying to enjoy the time we have here. There is so much to see and do and so much to take in. I thought I would do this blog so everyone could take a minute to see how we are!

I am impressed!! Carter (6.5) JUST learned this year. He could have cared less!!! but when his cottage school program teacher told the class that she expected them to all tie their shoes, he came home & taught himself. I had been telling him for TWo years!!! Kids are awesome.
Way to go Lucy!!! Teaching a child to tie shoes is a very hard thing to do. I taught Streeter and then he taught Sterling and I think Sayler with a little help taught herself. She has been teaching Stetson, he can tie now but he wasn't the best student!
I cannot believe how Lucy is growing up so beautifully!
