The Weekend
The name of the place we went to today was Heilingenberg which is in Heidelberg. It was such a beautiful day to go compared to the following post I will put up. It is up in the hills on the north side of the Nekar and we treked it up to the top! The amphitheatre held up to 20,000 during a nazi-era rally in 1936. We then moved on to the St. Michael Basilica ruins. These ruins date back to the 800s! Lucy ejoyed climbing the walls around. What a wonderful place to go and see!
Well I am a mother of 2 kiddos. Lucy is 4 and Lincoln is 2. They are on the go ALL the time. By time Nick gets home from work, I am ready for bed. We are here in Germany for a year with Nick's work. It's going well. I am trying to enjoy the time we have here. There is so much to see and do and so much to take in. I thought I would do this blog so everyone could take a minute to see how we are!
